Early May — dates to be confirmed
South Florida's spring anchor: a circuit around a stadium, a week of water, and the densest concentration of American capital on the calendar.
The Miami round arrived recently and established itself quickly, largely because it landed in a city that already had the infrastructure and the audience. The circuit itself is a temporary layout around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, some twenty-five minutes north of the water, and it is competent rather than storied. The weekend's character comes from everything around it. South Florida in early May is at its best, the marinas at Miami Beach and Key Biscayne are full, and the surrounding programme runs from Wednesday through Sunday across Brickell, Design District and the beaches. For principals with Latin American, Gulf or East Coast interests, the week has become a reliable place to find the room, which is why attendance has held steady even as novelty has worn off.

Why it matters
Miami is the sport's American commercial hub in a way Austin and Las Vegas are not, because the city itself is a permanent centre of private capital rather than a destination visited for the race. Family offices relocating from the Northeast, Latin American principals and Gulf investors all maintain a presence here, and the race week functions as an informal annual gathering for that network.

Frequently asked
Where is the circuit in relation to the city?
Miami Gardens, roughly twenty-five minutes north of Miami Beach without traffic and considerably longer with it. Almost no one stays near the circuit itself.
Is a yacht worthwhile for this weekend?
For principals already chartering in Florida waters, yes; the marinas are the social centre of the week. As a standalone arrangement for four nights it is rarely the efficient choice.
How early should dining be arranged?
Two to three months. Miami's principal rooms are committed well ahead of race week and do not hold tables back.
What does Scott & Vale arrange?
Aviation, marine and ground movement, accommodation, dining, security and the week's itinerary, with introductions to authorised hospitality providers where such programmes exist.
