Transatlantic demand and late-summer repositioning
Eastbound traffic thins as the European season closes, and aircraft that spent the summer in the Mediterranean begin working their way back towards the United States. Empty legs surface in both directions, but they surface late and hold for hours rather than days. Where a movement can tolerate a shift of a morning or an afternoon, it is worth telling the desk so.
Aircraft availability into the Gulf ahead of Q4
The Gulf calendar tightens from October onwards as the conference and exhibition season resumes, and long-range availability into Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha is the first thing to close. Ground and crew arrangements are usually the binding constraint rather than the aircraft itself. Requests placed earlier read better to operators and quote better.
What operator certification actually tells you
An air operator certificate records that a regulator has approved a named operator to fly named aircraft under stated conditions. It does not speak to the cabin, the crew rostered on your leg, or the insurance carried on the day. Those are checked separately, and the desk checks them before a quote is sent rather than after it is accepted.

Do you provide chauffeurs in New York, Miami and Texas?
Yes. Chauffeur coverage is concentrated in New York, Miami, Palm Beach, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco, alongside London, Paris, Geneva, Monaco and Dubai. Vetted provision is arranged in other cities on request.
How quickly can you quote a charter?
Charter quotes are returned within the hour. A single figure comes back from a single point of contact, with the aircraft, operator certification, insurance and crew already checked.
Do you operate your own aircraft?
No. Scott & Vale acts as an air charter broker and arranger of ground transport. All flights are operated by fully certificated and licensed air carriers. Scott & Vale does not own or operate aircraft, and holds no air operator certificate.
